Vice President, Director - Surveying & Geomatics
Mr. Ratermann is a principal in the firm and leads all surveying, GIS and mapping operations conducted by HMG. In addition, he is a project manager for municipal civil & roadway projects. His engineering experience includes pavement design, culvert and storm sewer design, local roads design and numerous industrial and commercial site design projects. Mr. Ratermann’s surveying experience includes initial alignment surveys, engineering design surveys, construction staking, right of way calculations and platting, works with FEMA on LOMAs and LOMRs.
He has over 28 years of experience in consulting engineering and surveying. Mr. Ratermann has a BS in Civil Engineering from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and is a licensed Professional Engineer and licensed Professional Land Surveyor in Illinois. He is based at the Corporate Office.
