(HMG), dba HMG Engineers, Inc., a 100% employee-owned consulting engineering firm headquartered in Breese, Illinois, is excited to announce recent changes to its leadership team which became effective January 1, 2025. Bradley G. Hummert, P.E., S.E., now serves as Chairman of the Board, and Brian R. Buchheit, P.E., BCEE, is the Chief Executive Officer for the firm. Brandon M. Ratermann, P.E., PTOE, has been appointed President & Principal – Transportation. Brett I. Benhoff, P.E., has been appointed Senior Vice President, Corporate Secretary & Principal of Project Management. Additional appointments include Douglas J. Ratermann, P.E., P.L.S., as Senior Vice President & Principal – Civil; John A. Wieter, P.E., re-appointed Senior Vice President & Principal – Water; and Christopher S. Bouchard, P.E., Senior Vice President & Principal – Northern Illinois Market. All serve on the Board of Directors and are based at the Corporate Office in Breese, with the exception of Mr. Bouchard, who is based at the Mundelein Office in Suburban Chicago.

Stine, P.L.S., Vice President & Manager – Surveying & Geomatics (Corporate Office); and Jesse S. Maynard, P.E., Vice President & Regional Manager – Water for Southern Illinois (Waterloo Office).
