About
The 3rd Street Reconstruction Project in the City of Waterloo marks a significant improvement in local infrastructure. Previously an oil & chip street, 3rd street has been transformed with new asphalt pavement offering a smoother and more durable surface for vehicles. The new curb & gutter and storm sewer enhances drainage and roadway stability. For pedestrians, a new ADA sidewalk and curb ramps have been installed to offer a safe transportation route for vulnerable roadway users. The project not only enhances the aesthetic appeal of a historic part of Waterloo but also contributes to a more efficient and inclusive urban environment.
