This project along FAS Route 946 (Miller City Road) extended approximately 6.9 miles from 5 miles south of Olive Branch off IL Route 3 to 0.3 miles west of IL Route 3. The roadway had significant pavement and shoulder damage from flooding in 2019, qualifying the project for Federal Highway Administration Emergency Relief Program funds.

Work included reconstruction of 0.25 miles of asphalt pavement using rubblization, grading, aggregate subbase and base courses, and hot-mix asphalt overlay. The remainder of the project involved asphalt repairs, pavement patching, guardrail installation, and riprap armoring of shoulders and foreslopes.

HMG provided topographic surveys, geometric design, plans, specifications, and estimates for IDOT approval, as well as construction layout, grade staking, inspection, and documentation. The project was designed and constructed in 2019.
