This project improved 3.2 miles of County Highway 10, from IL Route 153 to near Elkton. The existing roadway, with narrow 11-foot lanes and minimal shoulders, was insufficient for heavy agricultural traffic. Improvements included widening by 2 feet on each side, adding 10-inch HMA shoulders and 2-foot aggregate wedge shoulders, milling and overlaying the pavement, and installing new pavement markings and raised reflective markers.

HMG Engineers provided Phase I and Phase II engineering services in collaboration with IDOT District 8 Local Roads. The project was let through an IDOT construction letting and completed in October 2023.
