Brandon Ratermann, P.E., PTOE, VMA

Brandon Ratermann joined HMG Engineers in 2021 and brings more than 13 years of experience in transportation design and traffic engineering. As President of the Transportation Sector, he oversees a wide range of roadway and mobility projects, specializing in advanced traffic operations, geometric design, and transportation planning.

He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Illinois and Missouri, a Professional Traffic Operations Engineer, and a SAVE Value Methodology Associate. His expertise includes traffic studies and simulations, intersection and roundabout design, IDOT Phase I and II designs, grant funding applications, and site development. Brandon has led high-profile projects including multiple IDOT and MoDOT roadway improvement projects.

As an active leader in the profession, Brandon serves as the current St. Clair Chapter President of the Engineering Society of Illinois (Formerly ISPE). He is also active in American Council of Engineering Companies.
