Henry, Meisenheimer & Gende, Inc. (HMG), dba HMG Engineers, Inc., a 100% employee-owned multidiscipline engineering firm headquartered in Breese has reached an agreement to acquire a minority interest in Asaturian Eaton & Associates, Inc. (AE), a Carbondale-based civil, mechanical, & electrical engineering and land surveying firm.

Founded in 1966, HMG provides civil, transportation, structural, and environmental engineering and land surveying to federal, state and local governments and private/industrial clients throughout Illinois and neighboring states. In addition to the,Breese corporate office, HMG maintains offices in Metropolis, Murphysboro and Troy. HMG’s other affiliate, RHMG Engineers, Inc., is based in Mundelein, IL. Founded in 1982, AE provides civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering and land surveying to educational, municipal, governmental, industrial, commercial housing, private developers and healthcare clients throughout southern Illinois. This affiliation will expand the resources, knowledge and experience of both firms, allowing them to provide added value and continued exceptional professional service to their clients.
