Completed in multiple work orders, HMG Engineers assisted IDOT Studies & Plans with resurfacing, ADA sidewalk improvements, and signal upgrades along IL Route 159 from Beltline Road in Collinsville to just south of Center Grove Road in Edwardsville. HMG designed ADA-compliant sidewalk ramps at numerous locations and upgraded all 15 traffic signals with new heads, countdown timers, and Accessible Pedestrian Signals (APS) where sidewalks were present.

Additionally, HMG reviewed plans and work from other consultants before letting to ensure cohesion and consistency across the project team. The project was let in January 2023 and is currently under construction.
