Kermit (Ben) Christmann joined HMG Engineers in 2024, bringing more than 10 years of experience in structural and bridge engineering. His expertise includes complex bridge design, structural building and foundation design, load rating analysis, and project management.
He is a licensed Professional Engineer and Structural Engineer in Illinois. Ben has designed and managed a wide range of projects, from major interstate bridge replacements to seismic design of piers and abutments. Along with his design work, he is a certified Bridge Program Manager and has completed numerous bridge inspections, including load rating inspections of more than 130 structures throughout the state for IDOT.
Active in his field, Ben is a member of the Structural Engineers Associations of Missouri and Kansas, as well as the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying.
