The Opportunity
We’re seeking an experienced engineer to lead our Water Group Team at our Mundelein Office in North Suburban Chicago.
This role is ideal for an experienced professional ready to take on more leadership — managing municipal water and wastewater projects, mentoring younger engineers, and growing within a company that values innovation, collaboration, and ownership.
What You’ll Do
Lead the planning, design, and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
Prepare reports, design documents, specifications, and cost estimates.
Manage project schedules, budgets, and communication with clients and regulatory agencies.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, efficient solutions.

What You Bring
Bachelor of Science in Civil/Environmental Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
8-12 years of design experience in water and wastewater engineering.
Licensure as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Illinois, or the ability to obtain via reciprocity.
Experience with AutoCAD and hydraulic modeling.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Power Point, & Teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Self-motivated with attention to detail and willingness to work as part of a team

Competitive Compensation – Salary range: $120,000 – $140,000, based on the skills, experience, licenses, and unique qualities of each candidate.
