Bradley Hummert has been with HMG Engineers since 1999 and brings over 30 years of experience in civil and structural engineering. As the former Chairman of the Board, he led the firm’s quality assurance and continuing education efforts while remaining actively involved in project delivery, and continues to do so in his role as Senior Consulting Engineer. His expertise spans all phases of bridge engineering, including condition reports, cost analysis, TS&L plans, contract documents, and shop drawing reviews.

He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Illinois and Missouri and a licensed Structural Engineer in Illinois. Known for developing innovative solutions in bridge rehabilitation and design that improve safety and extend service life, Bradley’s extensive portfolio includes major IDOT and county projects. His leadership ensures projects are delivered to the highest standards of safety, durability, and constructability.

An active leader in the profession, Bradley is a member of the American Council of Engineering Companies, American Public Works Association, American Society of Civil Engineers, and the Structural Engineers Association of Illinois.
