Henry, Meisenheimer & Gende, Inc. Becomes 100% Employee-Owned
Henry, Meisenheimer & Gende, Inc. (HMG), doing business as HMG Engineers, Inc., a multidiscipline engineering firm headquartered in Breese, Illinois, is proud to announce its transition to a 100% employee-owned company through the establishment of an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).
An ESOP is a retirement benefit plan that provides employees with company stock, creating a shared stake in the firm’s ongoing success. With this transition, all outstanding company stock is now held in trust by the ESOP on behalf of HMG’s employees.
“We are excited to announce our transition to 100% employee ownership,” said Brad Hummert, President and CEO of HMG. “This move allows us to reward our team for their dedication and gives them an even greater role in shaping the company’s future. Our founders envisioned a multi-generational firm built to last. The ESOP will help ensure that vision endures.”
HMG will continue to operate under the same business model and leadership structure.
